Buckley and Johnny Slattery for organising the medical evacuations; to Jim Reynolds for his ability to "fix it"; to Julia, Kent, Sandra and Christa Plumley for their tremendous love and support; to Moss and Aoife Cox for Pete's most beautiful vigil in their home; to Killian and Avril Whelan for the magnificent booklet; to the Fitzgerald family for their hospitality and professional care; to Prof. J. Crown who gave us hope; to Johnny O'Connor, our loyal gardener; to David McGrath for his bravery; to all Pete's friends who showered love, tenderness and generosity in kind and in spirit by their gifts, advice, letters, cards and Mass Offerings; to the staff of H.U.P.
