VICTORY Peter (Died June 4, 2008) - Peter's family wish to thank most sincerely all those who attended his removal and funeral Mass and all those who sent Mass Cards and letters of condolence. We would especially like to thank Fr. Joe Mothersill O'Carm for all his hospital visits to Peter and his kind words at Peter's funeral. He gave Peter great comfort before he died. A big thank you goes to Ms. Ruth Kelly for her beautiful music at the church. We'd particularly like to thank Peter's Day Care Centre, Walkinstown Association which he attended since 2004. The wonderful staff there was outstanding in it's care of Peter and support for his family. The donations which were so kindly made in the church are being used to create a "Peace Garden" in his Day Care Centre. This will comprise a bench with a plaque on it in Peter's memory and also the planting of a tree. We hope this will bring great peace to those who sit (or smoke!) there. There will also be an outing in August for the service users at Walkinstown Association in celebration of Peter's life. Finally we would like to thank all those who cared so well for Peter during his life and to the wonderful staff at St. James's Hospital who cared for him during his illness. A special word of thanks to Peter's G.P., Dr John Craig for being such a kind and caring doctor to Peter and for visiting him in hospital."May his gentle Soul rest in peace"
