ROGERS (Dun Laoghaire) - On October 24, 2007, peacefully in the loving care of the doctors, nurses and staff of St Michael's Hospital, Dun Laoghaire, Jack (John D.), truly loved and loving husband of Anne (Honor), brother of the late Terry, beloved father of Terry, John, Siobhan, Brian, Joanne, Niall and Austin. Deeply mourned also by his daughters-in-law, by his sons-in-law, by all his grandchildren, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, relatives and many friends from the world of bookmaking, snooker and Dun Laoghaire Golf Club. Rest in peace. Reposing at Quinn's Funeral Home this evening (Thursday, October 25, 2007). House private. Removal to St Michael's Church, Dun Laoghaire for 10 o'clock Mass on Friday, October 26, 2007. Burial afterwards to Deans Grange Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to St Michael's Hospital and Irish Cancer Society.
