WATERS (Thomas Joseph), (Brig. Gen) (retired) (Ramleh Park, Milltown, Dublin 6) - The wife and family of the late Tom Waters wish to thank most sincerely all who have sympathised with and supported the family since his death last year, in particular those who attended the removal and funeral Services, sent Mass Cards, messages of sympathy and floral tributes. We are especially grateful to Fr. Mícheál MacGréil, S.J., Fr. Eamonn McCarthy, Donard, and Mons. Tom Stack, Milltown who officiated at the funeral Services and to Lt. Gen. Jim Sreenan (retd), Lt. Gen Dermot Early, Chief of Staff, the family liaison officer, Comdt. Gerry Tracey and Members of the Defence Forces who provided military honours at the funeral. In particular we would like to to thank the General Staff of the Defence Forces, the General Officers commanding the Brigades and the Defence Forces Training Centre, serving and retired members of the Defence Forces, family and friends who travelled to attend the funeral Services. As it has not been possible to personally contact all of you individually to thank you for your kindness and support, we trust that this will be accepted as an expression of our appreciation and gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
