WHELAN (Joe) (Goatstown) (February 19, 2007) - On the first anniversary of his death, May, Ben, Mary, Liam, Paula and Emer together with Joe's brothers and sisters wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them at the time of our beloved Joe's illness and death. Special thanks to all those who attended the removal and funeral Mass in such great numbers. A special thank you to Monsignor Donal O'Doherty P.P., Dundrum, Fr. Michael Fitzgerald and Fr. Eoghan Haughey who concelebrated the funeral Mass with Joe's brother, Fr. Noel. We appreciate very much the many relatives and friends who travelled long distances to be with us, those who sent Mass Cards and messages of sympathy and who called to our home to pay their respects. We also wish to thank the staff of St Vincent's and Beaumont Hospitals for the wonderful care given to Joe during his illness. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
