LYONS (Des) (Bray) (Died October 10, 2006) - Pam, together with Greg, Jill and Geoff wish to acknowledge with heartfelt gratitude the exceptional kindness, sympathy and support we received at the time of our great loss. We are so grateful to Dr John M. Kennedy and his team at St. James's Hospital who cared for Des throughout his long illness. We thank Dr Eamonn Kelly for his constant and diligent attention and Miriam McGrath for her invaluable palliative nursing. The gentle and perfect care provided by the doctors and nurses at the Blackrock Hospice made the unbearable, bearable. We thank you all. We extend our deepest gratitude to Rev. Baden Stanley and Rev. Ian Cruickshank of Christ Church, Bray, who steadfastly supported all of us on a very sad and difficult journey. Thank you to the many relatives, friends, neighbours and business associates who attended Des's funeral, and to those who sent Mass Cards and messages of sympathy. We hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a sign of our appreciation at this sorrowful time.
