O'BRIEN (Eileen) (née Lowry) (Beaumont, Dublin 9) - On this Eileen's first anniversary, her family, Kevin, Moira, Grainne and Niall would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their sad loss; those who attended the removal and funeral Mass; those who sent Mass Cards, letters of sympathy, consoling telephone calls and emails from abroad. A special thanks to everyone at Beaumont Hospital who cared so wonderfully for Eileen in her time there. We will never forget the compassion, respect and professionalism we encountered. Thank you also to Father Michael, Father John and the priests of the Church of the Holy Child and Father Andrew O. Carm who travelled from Moate for the funeral Mass, the Bethany Group and Sarah Murphy for her beautiful singing, also, thanks must go to Lanigans Funeral Directors who organised everything efficiently and unobtrusively. We would also like to thank Eileen's friends on the Altar Society and her friends in the Legion of Mary who prayed at her graveside. A very special mention to Eileen's best friend, Bobby Courtney whose steadfast faith and fervent prayers were a great consolation to us. To the Lowry and O'Brien families who came from Dublin, Offaly, Westmeath, England and Tyrone - it was lovely to see everyone even at such a sad time, and remembering Eileen's sister Ina Evans in Australia who misses her very much. To friends and colleagues of Kevin, Moira, Grainne and Niall who made the journey to be with us - thank you. If you did not receive an acknowledgement card, it is not that we forgot you, we are still finding things difficult without her and there is such a huge void in our lives. A special Mass to celebrate Eileen's very full life will be held on June 9, 2007 at 9.15 o'clock at the Church of the Holy Child, Whitehall. Everyone is welcome to join us.
