O'CONNELL, Carmel (née Casey) (Homefarm Park, Drumcondra, Dublin) - March 31, 2010 (suddenly and peacefully) surrounded by her family and in the tender care of the sisters and staff of Sybil Hill, Raheny. Re-united with her adored husband Brendan (formerly of Irish Life) and her daughter Patricia (Horan). Deeply regretted by her children Vivienne (O'Herlihy), Michael, Caitriona (Cuddy), her sons-in-law Ken Horan and Jim Cuddy, daughter-in-law Mary and by her sister Patsy Kernan, extended family and friends. Proud grandmother of 18 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Removal from Sybil Hill on Monday April 5 to the Church of Corpus Christi, Homefarm Road, Drumcondra arriving at 5 o'clock Funeral on Tuesday April 6 after 10 o'clock Mass to Glasnevin Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to Concern or St. Michael's House.
