SHORTT, Daniel J. (Dan) (Walkinstown, Dublin and late of C.I.E., Broadstone) - September 23, 2009 (peacefully), after a short illness at St James's Hospital, devoted husband and best friend of Emily and loving dad to Kathleen, Bryan, Daniel, Emily, Mervyn and Mary; sadly missed by his loving family, sisters Bridie and Statia, brother Owen, grandchildren, sons-in- law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and a wide circle of friends. May he rest in peace. Removal this (Friday) evening from the Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Crumlin Village to St Agnes's Church, Crumlin Village arriving at 6 o'clock Funeral tomorrow (Saturday) after 11 o'clock Mass to Newlands Cross Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to St Vincent de Paul.
