CAHILL (née Chase) (Dalkey and Monkstown, Co. Dublin) - January 6, 2010 (peacefully), surrounded by her loving family, in the kind care of all the staff at St. Michael's Hospital, Dun Laoghaire, Sheila beloved wife of the late Philip, loving mother of Elizabeth (McAvinchey), Irene (Clendennen), Peter and Jean; sadly missed by her children, 12 grandchildren, her great-grandson, daughter-in-law, sons-in-law, sister Maureen, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Removal today (Friday) from Quinn's of Glasthule, to the Church of the Assumption, Dalkey, arriving at 6 o'clock Funeral tomorrow (Saturday) after 10 o'clock Mass to Deans Grange Cemetery. "May she rest in peace"
CAHILL (née Chase) Sheila (Monkstown and Dalkey, Co. Dublin) died January 6, 2010 - On Sheila's First Anniversary, her children Elizabeth McAvinchey, Irene Clendennen, Peter and Jean would like to express their sincere thanks to all who sympathised with us, sent flowers and Mass cards and supported us on the death of our beloved Mum. The attendance of family, friends and colleagues at her removal and funeral, despite atrocious weather conditions, was a great comfort to the family. Our sincere thanks to her nephew Fr. Lee Cahill SMA and Fr. Declan Gallagher CC, Church of the Assumption, Dalkey who concelebrated her funeral Mass, her loving carers Evelyn and Rhea, doctors and staff at St. Michael's Hospital, Dun Laoghaire, where Sheila died peacefully. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all. Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere gratitude.
