<p><strong>HAMILTON, Craig, Foxrock, Dublin18 - Eleventh Anniversary - </strong>I carry your heart with me - I carry it in my heart. I am never without it - anywhere I go you go my dear. Robin, Pat and Heather.</p>
<p>Craig attended St Brigids NS inStillorgan &amp; St Andrews Booterstown, where he made somany good friends. He played Rugby and Hockey for St Andrews enjoying both enormously.</p>
<p>Craig passed away on 1st January 1999 aged 14. He had stayed up to welcome in the New Year and kissed us good night when going to bed, but never woke up again.</p>
<p>Craig died due to SADS (Sudden Adult Death Syndrome)</p>
<p>Following his death his family and friends organised a Charity Walk to raise money in his name towards a Millenium project at St Brigids Church. A friend Robert Binning ran in the Dublin City Marathon. In total €12,700 was raised which was used bto equip the church Youth Club.</p>
<p>Madeline Mullan, a family friend, ran in the Womens Mini Marathon in June 2010 raising over €1,000 in Craig's name for CRY Ireland</p>
<p>CRY Ireland(Cardiac Risk in the Young) is a registered Irish Charity, established in 2002 for parents and relatives who have experienced the effects of a sudden and unexplained death within their family. The CRY website CRY.ie provides information on this awful syndrome. Every year approximately 80 fit &amp; healthy young people die in Ireland due to undiagnosed heart conditions. Early identification can significantly reduce disease progression &amp; allow for treatment before complications intensify. CRY Irelandaims to raise awareness of Cardiac Risk in the Young through media campaigns and provide free screening to those at risk of Sudden Adult Death syndrome. CRY also offers counseling &amp; support to those affected.</p>
<p>CRY is a self-supporting registered charity. It does not receive any Government funding and depends entirely on private donations to fund its screening clinics.</p>

<p>Remembering our lovely friend Craig</p> <p>We had many happy years spent with Craig in our National School. He was a gentle, fun-loving young person who contributed greatly to our day to day school life. We think of him and Heather,Pat and Robin often.</p>
