FITZPATRICK Mary (née McCarthy) (Howth, Co. Dublin and formerly of Ballina, Co. Mayo) - September 27, 2010 (peacefully) after a long illness bravely borne, in the kind care of Howth Hill Lodge Nursing Home. Sadly missed by her loving husband Tom, daughters Orna, Niamh, Eilis and Roisin, brother Noel, sister Jo McCafferty, sons-in-law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Pre-deceased by her brother Paddy. Funeral today (Wednesday) after 11.30 o'c Mass in The Church of The Assumption, Howth to St. Fintan's Cemetery, Sutton. House private. Family flowers only.May she rest in peace.
FITZPATRICK Mary (née McCarthy) (Howth, Co. Dublin, and formerly of Ballina, Co. Mayo) who passed away on September 27, 2010 - On the First Anniversary of Mary's death, Orna, Niamh, Eilis and Roisin would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to all those who sympathised with us on the loss of our beloved Mum. We sincerely thank all those who attended the removal and funeral Mass, sent cards, letters, messages of comfort and travelled long distances to be with us. Our deepest gratitude goes to the Matron and staff of Howth Hill Lodge Nursing Home for the kindness and respect they gave Mary while caring for her during her last year. Also, we offer our sincere thanks to Dr. Mark Holmes and Dr. Orla Hardiman who cared for her during her long illness. We are especially grateful to Fr. Sean Melody and to the priests of Howth Parish for making the funeral Mass so meaningful. We hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.
