CONNOLLY Sean (Meteorologist, Shannon Airport) ("Kyle-na-Nó", Lower Limerick Road, Ennis, Co. Clare) - On this, his first anniversary, the Connolly family wish to extend heartfelt thanks to our relatives, friends, neighbours and colleagues for your support and friendship on the passing of Sean, beloved husband of Mary, father of Muiríosa, Ronan, Fergus, Cormac, Lorcan and Darren, father-in-law of Siobhan, Karen, Helen and Niamh, brother of Gerard and Michael and loving grandad to his seven grandchildren. Your words, gestures, prayers and stories were of great comfort to our family, your attendance at Sean's removal and funeral ceremony was deeply appreciated. We wish to thank Fr. We are also grateful to the choir of the Holy Family School, the instrumentalists, soloists and organist and all who participated in the beautiful liturgy. Our thanks also to Sean's colleagues in Met Éireann and the various organisations at Shannon Airport. To Sean's lifelong friends in Ennis and Lahinch Golf Clubs, Probus Club, Ennis Bridge Clubs, Ennis Musical Society, Society of St. Vincent de Paul, a very special word of appreciation. We remain forever indebted to Sean's medical team: Mr. Tadhg O'Dwyer and Dr. Ian Fraser, oncology nurse Margaret McGrath, the consultants and nursing staff at the Mater Private, St. Luke's and Milford Hospice as well as local GP Dr. Cox, pharmacist Mary Jo Duffy and the public health nurses - all your care and professionalism eased Sean's journey and was a source of great comfort to us all.
