CURRAN (Parochial House, Castlebar and formerly of Deerpark, Headford, Co. Galway) - July 2, 2008, suddenly, at Mayo General Hospital, Canon Paddy; deeply regretted by his loving brothers John (Headford), Fr Tom (Singapore), Andy (Ellagh, Headford), Frank (Preston), Michael (Manchester), Gabriel (Cluide, Corndulla), Jimmy (Dublin), sister Mary Stephens (Corofin), and his devoted housekeeper Sadie, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, Archbishop Michael Neary, Archbishop Joseph Cassidy and fellow priests from the Archdiocese of Tuam, parishioners and a large circle of friends. Reposing at his residence, Chapel Street, Castlebar, on Friday morning from 11 o'clock with removal at 8 o'clock to the Church of the Holy Rosary. Concelebrated Mass on Saturday at 2 o'clock with burial afterwards in Castlebar Church Grounds. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Palliative Care, Mayo General Hospital."Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam".
