BUCKLEY (Dalkey and Tralee) - On November 25, 2007, in St Vincent's University Hospital, after a long illness, Michael Alphonsus, dearest husband of Kay, treasured Dad of Jon, Karin, Michael, Mark and his beloved Paul and Vicki, who predeceased him. He was adored Grandad to Patrick, Joseph and Michael (Spain), to Matthew and Hannah-Rose (Wicklow) and to Tatum and Sam (U.S.A.); sadly missed by his daughters-in-law Jackie, Jill and Bernadette and his son-in-law Gerry. He will be a sad loss to his loving sisters Caroline, Valli, Corrina and Felicity and their husbands. Michael's friends in Eircom will remember him with affection as will his lifelong friends and colleagues of the Irish Naval Service, Haulbowline in which he proudly served and later with the Naval Association. He was proud to be associated with Cuala G.A.A. Club, Dalkey. Reposing at Sheahan's Funeral Home, 71 Upper Georges Street, Dun Laoghaire. Removal tomorrow (Wednesday) to the Church of the Assumption, Dalkey, arriving at 5 o'clock Funeral on Thursday morning after 10 o'clock Mass to Shanganagh Cemetery, Shankill. All correspondence and Mass cards, please, to Sheahan's Funeral Home, Dun Laoghaire."A proud and dignified Kerryman".
