Goodbye Evelyn

Goodbye Evelyn. When I was too young to understand my Dad tried to explain to me what an amazing career you had but to me you were just "Auntie Evo". You were a wonderful friend to us all. You'll be missed at our Christmas dinner table, be sure we will drink a toast to you Ev, thanks for all the great memories.

Ita Patton

A Godmother in the true sense of the word....

Evelyn, you were a ‘fairy’ godmother, not just to me, but to all of us ‘Pattons’. You helped us more than you would ever have known, a second mother to Ita, Ann and me and a shadow Granny (sometimes reluctantly!) to David, Harry, Alannah & Lucy when Kay was gone. Above all, you were the best friend imaginable to Kay and she loved you dearly. We miss you. Love, Barbara
