<p>GAVIN, Finian John Francis, suddenly, at home in St. Albans, Hertfordshire - September 24, 2009 (aged 68). Late of Dublin and Leeds. Beloved husband of Sue, loving father of Breda and Seán, adored granddad of Joseph and Rónán, much loved brother of Éamonn and father-in-law of Alan, brother-in-law and uncle, and a friend to so many. Son of the late Maura (née Keating) and Edward (Ted) Gavin and brother of the late Breda. He will be greatly missed and forever in our thoughts. Requiem Mass on Wednesday, October 7 at 12 noon in SS Alban and Stephen Church, St. Albans, Herts, England, following his removal the previous day (Tuesday at 4.30 pm). Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam. Flowers welcome, or donations to The Heart Foundation. Requiescat In Pace. Enquiries to: Phillips Funeral Services, 68 Alma Road, St. Albans, Herts., AL13BL. (Tel: 00 44 1727 851006).</p>

<p>SINCERE SYMPATHY</p> <p>Having known Finian for 30 years I will miss him greatly he always had a smile on his face even when he was feeling ill. I was on holidays when he died and by coindence was at mass on Mont St Michel on the 24th and remembered him at mass.</p>
