BERMINGHAM Imelda (died November 27, 2006) - Imelda's brother James and sisters Marie, Ena and Peggie mark the First Anniversary of Imelda's sudden passing by expressing deep gratitude to our kind neighbours (especially Mary and David, who rendered due care and assistance to Imelda in her final illness) and friends who comforted and consoled us on the sad loss of our dear sister. We thank all who called to our home, telephoned, sent flowers, Mass cards, perpetual enrolments and letters of sympathy and those who travelled long distances to attend the removal, funeral Mass and burial. We greatly appreciate the wonderful care given to Imelda by the medical staff of St James' Hospital during her final hours. We also wish to thank most sincerely the Oblate Fathers on both Mary Immaculate and St Michael's parishes for their kindness and support and for making Imelda's farewell Mass such a memorable one. A special word of thanks to the members of the Emerald Girls Pipe Band who rendered appropriate music during the removal and farewell Mass and the organist, who accompanied Catherine, who sang so beautifully. We thank the members of the Lourdes Handmaids, who rendered appropriate honours and the members of the Bulfin Ladies Club, The Irish Amateur Rowing Union, Commercial Rowing Club and the Lady Captain and members of Donabate Golf Club for their unstinting support. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
