AHERN (Ardcarrig, Sunnyheight, Cobh) Cdr Liam (retired) RN and INS - March 9, 2011 in his 91st year at Cork University Hospital following tender care in Conna Nursing Home. Beloved husband of the late Sarah and father of the late Peter; very sadly missed by his son Damian, daughters Anne Marie and Miriam, daughter-in-law Anne and sons-in-law Anthony and Gerry, cherished grandchildren Adam, Caroline, Jennifer, Gillian, Rachel, Elizabeth and Hazel, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Rest in peace. Removal from Cobh Hospital on this (Thursday) evening to St. Colman's Cathedral at 7 o'c, requiem Mass tomorrow (Friday) at 11 o'c followed by funeral to St. Colman's Cemetery, Cobh.
