MERRY, Brendan Francis (Died November 3, 2008). On the first anniversary of Brendan's death, his wife Evelyn, daughters Helen and Suzanne, son Niall and brothers Brian and John, his grandchildren and their extended families wish to express their sincere gratitude to all those who sympathised and offered support at the time of Brendan's death, and during his illness. We would especially like to thank Fr Pat Carroll of Donnybrook Parish together with Fr Bruce Bradley S.J., Clongowes Wood College, Bishop Eamon Walsh and Fr Derek Cassidy S.J., Belvedere College, who made the funeral Mass such a meaningful celebration of Brendan's life, the doctors and staff of The Transplant Unit, at The Mater Hospital, who cared for Brendan so well. Our deepest appreciation to all the many people who attended the funeral, particularly those who travelled from overseas, and who sent Mass Cards, letters of condolences and kind wishes in many forms, and who made donations to The Irish Lung Fibrosis Association and St Vincent de Paul. Special thanks to Brendan's very many friends and work colleagues whose continued presence made such a difference to his life. We would also like to thank Fanagans Funeral Directors for doing such a wonderful job. As it is impossible to thank everybody individually, we hope you accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
