CLUNE (Conor F.) (Douglas, Cork) - May 25, 2007, after many years of ill health patiently borne; deeply mourned by his loving wife Pat, sons Brendan, Paul and Conor, daughters-in-law Deirdre, Yvonne and Karen, his ten grandchildren, brother Joseph, sister Eilish (Ellis), relatives and friends. Lying in repose at the Temple Hill Funeral Home, Boreenmanna Road of Jerh. O'Connor Ltd. Removal this (Saturday) evening at 7 o'clock to St Columba's Church, Douglas. Requiem Mass at 11 o'clock on Monday. Funeral afterwards to St Oliver's Cemetery, Model Farm Road. Family flowers only. House private please.Solas na bhflaitheas ar a anam dÃlis".
CLUNE Conor F. (Douglas, Cork, died May 25, 2007) - We, the Clune family and extended family wish to thank sincerely our kind neighbours, friends, colleagues and ex-colleagues for their generous support for us on the loss of our dear Conor. Our deep gratitude to the community nurses, carers, the staff of the Mercy Hospital and all those who helped us to look after him at home and also to the priests of our parish who visited him here. We thank Conor's many friends in Douglas Golf and Bridge Clubs for their thoughtfulness and support during his years of disability and we are very grateful to the staff of O'Connor's Funeral Home, Temple Hill, for their sensitivity and kindness at the end. A Mass in Thanksgiving for friends has been offered during the year.
CLUNE (Conor F.) (Douglas, Cork) (Second Anniversary) - In fond memory of a loving husband, father, grandfather and true friend. Sadly missed by Pat and family.May he rest in peace.
