O'FLANAGAN - On this, Michael's birthday, his wife Elaine, daughters Sarah, Mary, Rachel, Olivia, Catherine and Rebecca, his sisters, brothers and extended family wish to thank the many people who helped us through the difficult time of his sudden death. Thanks are due to Dublin Emergency Services, the parish of Our Lady of Dolours, particularly Fr. Hugh Daly, Fr. Paud Shiels, who came from Denmark to celebrate the Requiem, the priests of All Hallows College, the Rector Mark Noonan, Fr. Bob Whiteside and Fr. John Joe Spring for their presence and organising the liturgy and music, to the choir and musicians, to the wider All Hallows Community, priests and lay, for their spontaneous practical help. Our thanks also to Michael's faithful colleagues from C.T.T., I.D.A. and T.D.I., their presence was much appreciated. Thanks to the many friends who attended, day after day, travelled great distances, sent flowers, wrote letters and sent Mass Cards - too many to mention individually. Each message was read and valued by all seven of us. We thank our outstanding neighbours in Cremore, especially the Fitzgerald family, who opened their home to us and our visitors so generously. A special thanks to the crowds of friends, young and old, who filled the house and garden in those desolate days, sustaining us with their warmth and practical help, making it the celebration that Michael would have wanted. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered in thanksgiving."Pray for me, and I shall pray for you
