McCARTHY (Cork) - January 7, 2009 (unexpectedly), at her home in Model Farm Road, Gertie (née Keenan), dearly loved wife of the late Colum and loving mother of Patricia (Purcell), John, Sally, Claire and Deirdre, and beloved grandmother of Kyle, Chloe and Sadie; sadly missed by her loving family, brothers Dick, Tom and Reg, sister Patsy, son-in-law Brian, and Martin, relatives and friends. Lying in repose at the Wilton Funeral Home, Sarsfield Road of Jerh. O'Connor Ltd. Rosary at 4pm on Sunday. Reception Prayers at 11.45am. on Monday in Church of the Holy Spirit, Dennehy's Cross followed by 12 noon Requiem Mass. Funeral afterwards to the Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork.May she rest in peace
