FLAHERTY (née Whelan) - March 21, 2008, late of Garville Avenue, Rathgar, Elizabeth (Betty) peacefully, in the tender loving care of the sisters and staff of the Queen of Peace Centre, Rathgar, beloved wife of the late Jack, much loved mother of Michael, Máire (Wixted), Anne (Kelly), Seán, Eilish (Sparrow) and the late Pádraig, mother-in-law of the late Seán; sadly missed by her sons-in-law Eamonn and Michael, daughters-in-law Cróine, Bernie and Judy, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, niece, nephew, relatives and friends. Rest in peace. Removal on Monday from Fanagans Funeral Home, Lower Kimmage Road to the Church of the Three Patrons, Rathgar arriving at 6.30 o'clock Funeral on Tuesday after 12 Noon Mass to Mount Jerome Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to the Alzheimers Society of Ireland.
