SMITH Charlie (Walterstown, Dunboyne, Co. Meath) - March 8, 2011 (suddenly) at The Hermitage Clinic. Beloved husband of Eileen, cherished and loving father of Barbara, Siobhan and Aileen, devoted and adored Grandad to Emily, Charlie, Lucy, James, Romy, Harry, Lottie, George, Hugo, Suzie and Ruby; very sadly missed by his heartbroken wife, daughters, grandchildren, much loved sons-in-law Johnny, Ciaran and Walter, sister, brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of friends. R.I.P. Reposing at his home today (Thursday) from 2 o'c with removal to SS Peter & Pauls Church, Dunboyne tomorrow (Friday) arriving for Mass at 1.30 o'clock Burial immediately afterwards at Rooske Cemetery. House private Friday morning.
SMITH Charlie On this the First Anniversary of Charlie's death, Eileen, Barbara, Siobhan and Aileen would like to thank all those who sympathised with them on their very sad loss. Sincere thanks to all who attended his wake and Funeral, those who sent Mass Cards, flowers, letters and messages of sympathy. Thank you to Monsignor Dermot Farrell for his insightful celebration of Charlie's life, to Mary-Paul for her beautiful singing and to Heffernan Funeral Undertakers for their sensitivity and professionalism. Special word of thanks to his colleagues in Smith Property Management and his friends in the Ward Union Hunt for their guard of honour. The kindness and generosity of family and friends will never be forgotten. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
