STOVER Betty

STOVER Betty (Mary Elizabeth) (née Keenan) - October 27, 2009, peacefully, at home, with her husband by her side, (Charlotte, N.C. and formerly Glenshesk, Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland. She is pre-deceased by her brother, Bernard and her son, Daniel. She is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, James R., children: Maureen (John Skurek), Patrick (Jutta Bayer), Andrew (Cathleen Surtz), James C., Elizabeth (Jeffrey Starrett), Anne, Mary Kathleen, Matthew (Jeannine Aucoin) and 24 grandchildren. Her family was the centrepiece of her life. She will be remembered for her great kindness, adventurous spirit and gentle humour. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mark's Catholic Church in Huntersville, N.C. at 1 pm, today (Saturday), October 31. A Memorial Service will be held in Cleveland at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Sloan KeHering Cancer Institute or Hospice of Lake Norman.
