BERKERY (Josie) (Stillorgan and late of Killorglin) Josie's husband John, her children Colm, Don, Bob, Maeve, Dermot, Niall and Fiona, her son-in-law and daughters-in-law, her 19 grandchildren and her brothers and sisters, would like to express our gratitude to the staff at St. Vincent's Hospital for their compassion and dedication, to Ultan Sherlock and his fellow-members of An Garda Síochána for their consideration at the hospital and the house and for the way they controlled the traffic, to Very Rev. Michael Loftus who spoke so movingly at the Mass, to all those who, in Josie's name, gave so generously to Divine Masters Tsunami Fund, (over [EURO]15,000 was contributed) and to the staff of the Office of Public Works and the members of County Louth, Milltown and especially Delgany Golf clubs for their support and genuine thoughtfulness. We were touched by the huge attendance at the funeral, by the very many Mass and sympathy cards, by all those who called to the wake and by the numbers of relatives, friends, colleagues and neighbours who, ever since Josie was so unexpectedly taken from us, showed and continue to show such encouragement. And how can we ever sufficiently thank Sister Muriel who rendered comfort until the ambulance arrived? Since then, she and her colleagues at the Divine Masters Sisters, Newtownpark Avenue, have been a tower of strength with their understanding, their cheerfulness and their continued prayers. May the Lord in His goodness reward you all.
