With Sympathy

Dear Esme,

I read the Irish Times on the internet here in the USA each night anf have just read of the passing of your brother. I offer my deepest sympathy to you and your family.

I have been living in the USA for 38 years now but have visited Ireland many times over the years.

I have happy memories of working at John Lyttle & Sons, many years ago now. I believe that Mrs. Bloomer has joined Arthur in the office in the sky but have lost track of Nancy Finnegan the other secretary at Wellington Quay.

My prayers are with you at this time of your sorrow. I believe you had a sister, cannot remember her name just now, she was married to Jim Finlay Old age has robbed my memory.

Most sincerely,

Olivine Groves (Tyrrell)
