HACKETT (Edward Patrick) (late of Ailesbury Drive, Donnybrook, Dublin) - August 14, 2007, only son of the late Eddie and Lorrie and brother of the late Edwina (peacefully), at the Blackrock Clinic, after a long illness bravely borne, surrounded by his loving sisters Janet, Ann, Diane and special friend Margie, and in the loving care of David Fennelly, Simon, Jenny and all the wonderful nurses in the Nightingale Unit and all the staff in the Blackrock Clinic; heartfelt thanks to Jessica for all her loving care of Edward during his last months; deeply regretted and sadly missed by Annabella, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, brothers-in-law, his colleagues at Blackrock College and Willow Park, and all of his friends. May he rest in peace. Reposing at 4 Stillorgan Park, Blackrock. Visitors are welcome from 12 noon today (Thursday). Removal to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Donnybrook arriving at 5 o'clock this (Thursday) evening. Funeral tomorrow (Friday) after 11.30 o'clock Mass to Glasnevin Cemetery. Donations, if desired, to the Oncology Unit, Blackrock Clinic.
