REID (née O'Rourke) (Brigid) (Late of Breffni House, Lenaboy Gardens, Salthill, Galway) (Died February 2, 2007) - Her children, Grace, Meta, Terrie, Charlie (Carl) and Brendan wish to express their sincere thanks to all who sympathised with them in the loss of their cherished mother, Brigid, all who attended her funeral obsequies, those who travelled long distances, all who sent Mass Cards, letters of condolences and floral tributes. We also thank the priests who attended her during her illness and/or concelebrated her funeral Mass Fr. Gerry Jennings, PP and Fr. Michael Bailey CC, Salthill, Fr. Ritchie Higgins PP, Ardrahan, Fr. Peter O'Grady O.F.M, Franciscan Friary, Galway, Fr. Joe Kennedy, Mt. Argus, Chaplain, Garda Siochana, Fr. Joe Pollard, Athenry, Fr. Patsy Cunning C.S.S.R, Clonard, Belfast and Fr. Sean Manning, St Mary's College, Galway. We are also deeply appreciative of the support received from the Galway Dominican Sisters and Sisters of Jesus and Mary as also the Sisters of Mercy of the Western Province. We thank also Mark Keane and his team for the beautiful musical renditions offered during the Funeral Mass. Finally, we are grateful for the kindness extended to our mother and to us, personally, at the Bons Secours Hospital by Drs. Anton O'Regan, John Nee, Deirdre Mullane, the extraordinary Nursing Staff, Sr. Patricia, St. George OP and the Bon Secours Sisters, during our mother's final illness. Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
