MOONEY, Robert (Ballsbridge, Dublin) - May 11, 2009, peacefully at St. Vincent's Private Hospital, Dublin, loving and much loved husband and Dad; will be ever remembered by his wife Carmel, sons Eoghan and Douglas, daughter Kilda, daughter-in-law Emma, son-in-law Dónall, granddaughters Eleanor and Julie, sister Ann, brother Gerald, extended family and his very many friends. Sincere thanks to Professor John Crown and the nursing staff of Cedar Ward who took care of Robert so well. Removal this (Tuesday) evening at 5.30 o'clock from St. Vincent's Hospital to St. Mary's Church, Haddington Road arriving at 6 o'clock Funeral mass tomorrow (Wednesday) at 10 o'clock followed by cremation service at Mount Jerome Harolds Cross. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Nursing Education St. Vincent's Private Hospital."Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam uasal".
MOONEY, Robert (May 11, 2009) - At the time of his First Anniversary, Robert's family Carmel, Eoghan, Douglas and Kilda would like to thank the many friends who supported them at the time of Robert's illness and death, and since then. The kindness and care of Professor John Crown and the staff of Cedar Ward, St Vincent's Private Hospital are particularly remembered. Special thanks also to Mgr Patrick Finn, St Mary's, Haddington Rd; to Fr Seamus Ryan and in particular to Fr Paul Tyrell who spoke so wonderfully at Robert's funeral. The very many people who attended, sent Mass Cards and wrote have been a great comfort to us. Robert remains with us in thought and spirit.
