McGRATH Seán (died February 23, 2011) - His wife, Mairéad, children, Ruairi, Una and Sinéad, wish to thank all who sympathized with them in their sad loss of Seán. We thank all who sent Mass cards, visited the house, sent messages of sympathy, attended his removal and funeral Mass and Months Mind and our wonderful families, neighbours and friends for their support and kindness during Seán's final months, particularly through such a dreadful winter. We would like to single out one friend and neighbour, Rita Conalty, who visited Seán almost every day to prepare him for the day. We thank the Wicklow Community and Family Services, particularly, Emily, for their help. Thanks are due to Fr. Tim Hannon, P.P., Wicklow, for his kindness in visiting Seán many times during which they engaged in lively discussions. We would also like to thank the ambulance staff who took Seán to hospital and the staff of St. Columcille's Hospital in Loughlinstown, particularly the staff of the ICU who were so kind and sensitive during his days there. A special word of thanks is due to Seán's GP, Dr. Nicholas Byrne, Westmount Clinic, Wicklow, and the staff there. During Seán's funeral Mass, our good friend, Sandra Robinson, sang and played beautifully and we thank her so much for that. We also thank Fr. Tim and Fr. Val Martin, P.P., Jobstown, who received Seán into the church, and Fr. Jimmy McPartland, C.C. Wicklow, and Fr. Peter O'Connor, P.P., Artane, who concelebrated the funeral Mass. Finally, we would like to thank Niall, Frank and staff at McCrea's Funeral Directors for their efficiency and sensitivity. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
