O'CONNOR (Barry) (Late of Johnstown, Co Kildare and Rathfarnham, Dublin 14) (Died December 12, 2007) - Barry's family would like to thank most sincerely all those who supported and sympathised with us in our recent sad loss. We extend our appreciation to Fr. Hanlon who officiated at his removal and funeral Mass in Rathfarnham Church and to Fr. Willie O'Brien who officiated at the funeral home in Naas, and to all those who travelled from far and near to be with us. Our special thanks to Prof. Crown and the Oncology Unit in St. Vincent's Hospital, as well as the medical staff in St. Luke's and the Kildare Palliative Care Unit for all their care during his prolonged illness. Their concern and expertise in helping him through this time was an inspiration both to Barry and the whole family. We thank everyone who sent Mass cards and letters and the many who telephoned us to offer their condolences. As it would be impossible to thank everyone personally we trust you will accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deep appreciation. There will be a first anniversary Mass for Barry in the Church of the Annunciation, Rathfarnham at 4.30 o'clock on Sunday December 14.
