WHELAN Noel (Moynoe, Scariff, Co. Clare and Navan Road, Dublin) - Died February 4, 2010 Noel's mother Brid, sister Mary, brothers John and Anthony, sister-in-law Maureen, nephew Isaac, and extended family wish to sincerely express our gratitude to all those who supported and sympathised with us on our recent sad loss. In addition to the help and support given during Noel's illness and after his passing by our wonderful neighbours, friends, relatives and local clergy, we are indebted to Dr Eibhlin Conneally and the extended Haematology team of doctors and nurses at St. James' Hospital, including Noel's liaison nurse Emma Rowan; Dr O'Gorman of the Mater Hospital and Prof O'Byrne of St James' Hospital and their respective teams; nurses Barbara, Louise and Betty from the St Francis Home Care team and Breda from the Irish Cancer Society; Noel's GP Dr Terry Coll and his public health nurse Catherine. Thanks to Noel's many friends and to his colleagues at the Irish Medicines Board for their constant loyalty and presence during his long illness. Thanks to all those who donated generously to the Bone Marrow for Leukaemia Trust. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation of your thoughtfulness. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions. Noel's Month's Mind Mass will be offered at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Scariff, at 11.00 am on Sunday 7th March. May he rest in peace
