HARVEY Bill (who died on February 17, 2008, late of Killiney, Co. Dublin) - Bill's wife Mary, his sons Gerry, Liam and Michael, his daughters Margaret, Angela and Helena, wish to express their deep appreciation and sincere gratitude to all who sympathised with them on their recent sad loss of a loving husband, dad, grandfather and brother. We were overwhelmed with the large numbers who attended both the removal and funeral ceremonies. To our neighbours and friends and all who called to our home, your kindness and generosity in our time of grief was a great source of comfort and consolation to us. To Jenny Collins for her constant support. To the many people who travelled far distances to both funeral ceremonies. To those who telephoned, sent Mass Cards, perpetual enrolments, letters, sympathy cards and floral tributes. To the staff at St. Columcille's Hospital, Loughlinstown and especially to Fr. Derek O'Connell for his kindness to the family during Bill's illness. To the staff at the heart unit in St. Michael's Hospital, Dun Laoghaire. To Fr. O'Sullivan and Fr. Denis Kennedy of St Joseph's Church, Glasthule, who along with Fr. Sean Casey Cssp, Fr Tom Nash Cssp. and Fr Sean Cassidy (RIP) concelebrated Bill's funeral Mass. To Quinn's undertakers, Glasthule, for their courteous and professional service. To the Harold School, Glasthule, for performing the guard of honour. To Martin and Eleanor for the beautiful music in the Church and again in the cemetery. To the Gardai from Dun Laoghaire and Dalkey stations who led the cortege to the removal and organised the management of traffic. To the Eagles House, Glasthule, and Killiney Castle Hotel who catered so professionally for so many people. Bill's presence among us is sorely missed and the absence of his uplifting spirit leaves a void that can never be overcome. As it is not possible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation. The Holy sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions. "Happy 80th Birthday Bill, Dad and Grandad".
