CALDICOTT (John David) (Swansea, South Wales and Shankill, Co. Dublin) (Veteran XIV Army, Burma, formerly Commissioner of Revenue Confederation of East Africa and U.N. Commissioner of Revenue, Fiji) - July 1, 2007 (peacefully), in his 94th year after a long illness bravely borne in the wonderful care of the staff at Our Lady's Manor, Dalkey and the Blackrock Hospice Homecare Team, beloved father of Edric (Rick) and father-in-law of Elizabeth, devoted grandfather (Ampy) of David, Andrew and Katie, proud grandfather-in-law of Aoife and Axel, great-grandfather of Aisling, Rory, Pablo and Leila. Funeral Service on Saturday (July 7, 2007) at 11 o'clock in St. John's Church, Park Avenue, Sandymount and afterwards to Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold's Cross. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to the Blackrock Hospice.
