McCABE, Derubla

McCABE (Derubla) (née Gallagher), daughter of the late Michael Peter and Mary Agnes Gallagher of Corraun, Achill, Co. Mayo, late of Kilmacud and Vergemont, Clonskeagh, Dublin, died peacefully, after a long illness, November 27, 2009. Beloved wife and dearest companion of Eugene (Gene) and loving mother of Desmond, Maura, Paula, Caimin, Bernard and Grainne. Derubla is sadly missed by her family and by her sisters Maura, Treasa and Lucy, brother Robert and grandchildren Sean, Sorcha, Alanna, Erne, Ciara, Leah, Katrina, Sarah and James, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces and many friends. Funeral Mass today (Tuesday) at 11.30 a.m. in St Laurence O'Toole Church, Kilmacud and burial afterwards in St Killians Cemetery, Mullagh, Co. Cavan arriving at 2.30 p.m. approx. Special thanks to the staff at Vergemont Hospital, Clonskeagh for their selfless care of Derubla over the last nine years. Family flowers only.
