HANRAHAN (Don) (Dun Laoghaire and formerly of Ballybunion) (died October 10, 2008) - His beloved wife Gene and daughters Yvonne, Loraine, Dee, Ciara and Don's extended family would like to thank most sincerely all the wonderful people who supported and consoled us during his illness and sad loss. We thank everyone who attended the removal or funeral Mass, especially those who had to travel long distances. Also to all the people who sent cards, letters or made a contribution to the Blackrock Hospice, we are very grateful. To everyone who helped to make his funeral Mass so special we want to say thank you. In particular we wish to acknowledge Fr. Paddy Monahan who was also so kind during his illness. A special word of thanks to the staff in St. Vincent's Hospital who cared for him during his illness. The weekly support that Blackrock Hospice gave to Don during his illness was hugely important to him and we are very grateful to them for that and for the support they gave him and his family in his final weeks. Our warmest thanks goes to all the people who were so kind to him during his illness especially Brian, Sean and Ronnie. We have been overwhelmed by the number of cards and letters we received so please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is being offered for your intentions.
