HALLIDAY - Denis J. (Ranelagh, Dublin 6, former UN Assistant Secretary-General) – October 11, 2026, peacefully in the presence of his family. Born in Dublin to Stanley and Kathleen of Terenure, Dublin 6. Deeply loved and treasured by Fransisca, Keaton and Lena, Leo (deceased) and Eileen, Orla, Niamh and Vincent, Paul, Aiden, Jasmine and Nichole, and cherished by his extended family and friends, colleagues, fellow Friends and many more around the world. Remembered always for the courage of his convictions, his integrity and kindness. May we keep a part of his voice alive in our own. A Meeting for Worship will be held at Churchtown Friends (Quaker) Meeting House, Dublin 14, D14 F620 on Tuesday (October 20) from 10.30am to 11.30am followed by private burial.
