DEASY - Very Reverend Fr John, September 18, 2026, late of Ranelagh and his ministry parishes most recently St Agnes’s Parish, Crumlin. Unexpectedly, but peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in the compassionate care of the staff of St Vincent’s Hospital and previously in the wonderful care of the staff of The Holy Family Residence, Roebuck. Beloved son of the late Margaret and Cornelius and brother of Pat. John is predeceased by his brothers Jim and Neil and his sister-in-law Marie. John will be forever loved and very sadly missed by his loving brother, sisters-in-law Philda and Christine, nieces Patricia, Evelyn, Deirdre, Mairéad and Nicky, grandnieces, grandnephews, Archbishop Dermot Farrell and the Bishops and Priests of the Dublin Diocese, extended family, especially his cousins and friends in Achill and his colleagues and parishioners of St Agnes's Church, Crumlin Village and his former parishes. May Fr John rest in peace.
Reposing at St Agnes's Parish Centre on Monday (September 21, 2026) from 4pm to 7pm with removal to St Agnes’s Church arriving at 7.30pm for Vigil Prayers.
