McGOWAN, Joseph

McGOWAN - Joseph Bernard (Joe) Foxrock, Dublin 18 and formerly of Tawnyinah, Charlestown, Co. Mayo. Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of the staff in St. Vincent’s Hospital. Beloved husband of Anne Marie, cherished father of Catherine, Joseph and Christine. Father-in-law of Jennifer, Nicholas and Barry, and adored grandfather of Amy, Sophie, Jessica, Harry and Charlotte.

He will be deeply missed by his brother Gerry, having been predeceased by his father Jim, mother Kate and brother Pa. He will be very sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, relatives and wide circle of friends. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Willbrook, Rathfarnham on Tuesday, (September 15), from 4pm to 6pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday morning (September 16) at 11am at St. Mary’s Church, Sandyford, Dublin 18, A very special place for the family, where his two daughters were married, followed by burial in Kilmashogue Cemetery, Rathfarnham.
