Sunday, 6th September 2026. Peacefully, in the Mater Private Hospital, following a short illness. Adoring father and best friend of Conor Kirby MacGuill. Deeply regretted by his loving son and his brother Colm, sister Eithne, brothers, Ciarán, Daire and Conor, his aunt, nephews, nieces, extended family, colleagues and many close friends. Reposing at McGeough’s Funeral Home, Jocelyn Street, Dundalk, Co Louth A91 XW66 on Saturday 12th September and at the Law Society of Ireland, Blackhall Place, Dublin 7 D07 VY24, on Sunday 13th September between 1.00 p.m. and 4.00 p.m. each day. A service to celebrate James will take place at 4.00 p.m. on Monday 14th September in Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome, Harold's Cross, D6W HY98 followed by cremation.
