HAYES - We are grateful for your outpourings of love and appreciation of Jack. Your kind words and messages of support during this difficult time have given us such comfort and have been greatly appreciated. Jack was a giant of a man. Full of integrity, he was generous, loyal, funny and endlessly supportive in all that he did. Gifted with a great intelligence and an uncanny ability to quietly connect and lead. He helped many to achieve their dreams and goals - all of which were to be celebrated heartily. He bestowed upon his family and friends the gift of each other and an innate sense of what it is to love and be loved. Even when dementia took so much from him it never took away his essence. He was always a gentleman, always kind treating everyone he met with humour and respect, right to the very end. We Will always remember him as the gentle, calm companion with the mischievous glint in his eye. That noble call; that deoch an dorais; that sense of love, kindness and caring.
