COSTIGAN - Joseph (Joe) of Lacken Rise, formerly of Rathnapish, Carlow and Borris Road, Portlaoise. Joe passed away peacefully in the care of St Luke’s General Hospital, Kilkenny on 6th September 2026 in his 91st year. Predeceased by his sons Joe and Paul, his brothers Donal and Paddy, and his sister Rita. Beloved husband of Kitty and much loved brother of Jackie, father of Carolyn, Neil and David and grandfather of Douglas, Alex, Grace, Leah, Abby, Klara, and Zoe. Deeply regretted by his son-in-law Norman, daughters-in-law Roisin, Viktoria and Olivia, brother-in-law, sisters-in law, nephews, nieces, his many friends and his former colleagues in Telecom Eireann and CareDoc. Removal today Thursday from R. Healy & Son Funeral Home Pollerton Castle to the Church of the Holy Family, Askea to arrive for funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to the Lions Club, Carlow
