SHEEHAN - Joanne (Blackrock and formerly Mervyn, The Hill, Monkstown, Co Dublin). Died September 12, 2024. On Joanne's second anniversary, we, her family, would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all who supported and sympathised with us during our sad loss. The numerous Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters, online messages, texts and phone calls were much appreciated. In particular, we would like to thank her extraordinary friends who were like an extended family to her. We would also like to thank our life-long friend, Fr Michael Collins, who celebrated the requiem mass, along with Fr Hector Mwale from Zambia. We would like to acknowledge the support of the Sacred Heart Community (AMASC) and the members of Dublin Bay Sailing Club. During her short illness, Joanne was very well cared for by the staff of St Vincent’s Private Hospital and the Blackrock Hospice. She is missed every day, but her legacy endures in our dear memories of her and due to the abundant good she did throughout her full and fulfilled life. The fever of life is over for her. Now, she has a safe lodging and a holy rest.
