McGUINNESS - Brendan, of Clonmel, Co Tipperary, formerly managing director of Bulmers Ireland, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family at St James's Hospital, Dublin on Thursday, August 27, 2026. Predeceased by his sister Geraldine. Adored husband of Bernadette (Mac) McGuinness, wonderful and caring Dad to Paula, Brian and Ruth, devoted Grandad to Rory, Katie, Sean, James and Chloe. Always inspiring, Brendan will be sadly missed by his loving wife, son, daughters, grandchildren, daughter-in-law Michelle, son-in-law Cormac, brother Malachy, and all who came in contact with him over the years. Brendan will be missed by his extended family and relatives, his neighbours and many friends, and his former colleagues. May he rest in peace.

Requiem Mass takes place today Monday, August 31 in Ss Peter and Paul's Church, Clonmel (E91 YY01) at 1 o'clock, followed by a private burial in Dublin on Tuesday, September 1. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Parkinson's Ireland.
