HUGHES - Anne (née Doran) Athlunkard Ave, Shannon Banks, Corbally, Limerick. The death has occurred of Anne Hughes, 27th August 2026, peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff in Mount Hybla Nursing Home, Farmleigh Woods, Dublin. Late Limerick and formerly Wexford. Predeceased by her beloved husband Alfie, sons Brian and Eunan, sisters Bernadette and Molly, and brothers James, Peter and Nick. Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by her children Áine and Peter, son-in-law Bernard, daughter-in-law Audrey, grand-children Ryan, Caoimhe, Brian and Shane (and his fiancée Roseanne), sisters Nancy, Breda, Francis, Betty and Cathy, extended family, neighbours and friends. Anne will repose in Mc Mahon's Funeral home Blackwater on tomorrow (Sunday) from 3pm to 4:30pm followed by Removal to St. Nicholas Church Westbury. Funeral Mass on Monday 31st August at 11am followed by burial afterwards in St. Nessan's Cemetery Mungret.
