BYRNE - (née McDermott), Mary Teresa. Donnybrook, Dublin 4 and formerly of Castletown, Co. Westmeath. Peacefully in her sleep in the morning of August 21, Mary passed away having spent her last weeks in the loving care of her children. Predeceased by her son Dermot (died in infancy), parents Honora and Patrick, she will be forever loved and deeply missed by her loving daughters, Olive, Marion and Clare and her son, John, her sons-in-law, Mark Mariotti and Aran O’Donoghue and her daughter-in-law, Erika Fagan, her grandchildren Luca, Chloe, Olivia, Elsbeth, Tomas and Zac and her most loving sister, Catherine Hennigan as well as all her nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and her wide circle of friends. The Byrne Family would like to express their gratitude to all the Staff at Orwell Private and to Bluebird and the Donnybrook Church community for the respect and care they showed to Mary. Reposing at Rom Massey & Sons Funeral Home, 6 Cranford Centre, Stillorgan Road, Dublin 4, D04 X446 (opposite the UCD flyover), on Thursday evening, 27th August, from 5 pm to 7 pm. Funeral Mass on Friday 28th August at 1pm, at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Donnybrook, Dublin 04 HW82, followed by cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium at 3.15pm. Donations, in lieu of flowers, if desired, to Blackrock Hospice at www.olh.ie.
