McCARTHY - Patrick A. (Paddy), formerly of Carrigaline Co. Cork, 18th August 2026. Peacefully, in his ninety third year, surrounded by his loving family, in the care of the team at the Fern Dean Nursing Home, Blackrock. Beloved husband of Mary Nunan McCarthy, and much-loved father of Patrick, Jean, Hilary, Terry, and Maeve. Paddy will be sadly missed by his loving family, daughter-in-law Nina, sons-in-law Gonzalo, Ralph, Mark, and Graham, eleven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, brother Séan, sister Péig, sister-in-law Joan,

brother-in-law Tommy, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his brothers Tadgh, Micheál, and sister Úna.

Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home Dundrum on Friday evening (21st August) from 4pm to 6pm. Removal on Saturday morning (22nd August) to Holy Cross Church, Dundrum arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by cremation in the Garden Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross at 12.45pm. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Blackrock Hospice.
