DUFFY - Cecilia (Ci Ci) (Raheny, Dublin) (died August 24, 2025) – On the occasion of the first anniversary of Cecilia’s death, her sisters Anne and Mary, brothers John and Brian, and extended family offer their sincere gratitude and appreciation to all those who helped, supported, and sympathised with them on Cecilia’s death. To those who called to the house and attended Cecilia’s funeral, many of whom travelled long distances we will always remember you. To all who sent Mass Cards, and wrote such wonderful letters of support, left tributes on RIP.ie thank you. To our wonderful family, friends, relatives, and neighbours and all those helped us in so many ways, we were overwhelmed by your kindness and support. A special thanks to Reverend Father Seamus Connell for the moving celebration of her requiem Mass and to the funeral team of St. John the Evangelist Church, Kilbarrack. We would also like to thank Ali Murray who sang so beautifully and musicians Tony Hanway and Katie O’Connor. Thanks also to Cecilia’s cousin John Fegan for his wonderful singing. We are also grateful to the staff of Jennings/Kirwans for their sensitive and professional handling of the funeral arrangements. We want to thank all the staff of the Metabolic Units of Temple Street and the Mater Hospital for the care of Cecilia during her life. We would also like to thank Dr. Andrew Eustace and his team of Highfield Health Care for the professional and compassionate care that they showed to Cecilia. We are deeply grateful to all the staff at Dovida Fairview for the care and kindness they showed Cecilia and for all their support in helping her to stay at home. We also like to thank Fearghal, Yvonne and the staff of Dargan’s Chemist for all their support and kindness they showed to Cecilia over her life. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for the intention of all.

Ci Ci was an incredibly special sister

whom we all dearly loved and

who will always be in our hearts.
